Learn how to schedule Lesson Plan submissions.
Please note: This article is primarily for users with a System Admin role and above at districts/schools with the Lesson Plan Feedback Feature enabled. If you are interested in setting this up for your site, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager/Specialist.
Click Config > System Settings > Core Feature Settings > Lesson Plans and turn on the toggle to enable scheduling.
Go to Config > Lesson Plan Cycles to begin configuration. Click the Add Lesson Plan Cycle button to create a new cycle.
Name the Lesson Plan Cycle with key terms (ie. ELA Fall Lesson Plans, Math September Lesson Plans, K-3 Science Lesson Plans, etc.).
Specify the users included in this Lesson Plan Cycle by selecting the appropriate Roles, User Types, and other identifying information, if applicable. These criteria determine who is expected to submit lesson plans for this cycle. For more details on editing a user's identifying information such as user type, click here.
Identify the Dates and Frequency at which individual lesson plans are due. Select the Number of lesson plans required for this cycle and the Interval with which they are submitted (i.e. Weekly, Biweekly/every 2 weeks, and Monthly). Next, assign a Start and End date to this cycle.
Once the cycle dates have been established, use the green Confirm Due Dates button to edit or delete individual dates that might fall on scheduled school holidays.
Once all elements of the Lesson Plan Cycle are configured, any users who fall into this segment will now see a Lesson Plan Submissions widget on their profile containing the assigned lesson plans.
A user's Lesson Plan Submissions widget displays the lesson plans that are due and their progress towards each set of submissions. The View More Info button on the widget will open a larger pop-up with additional information about the user’s Lesson Plans.
The user also has the ability to add or link existing lesson plans that meet the requirements of the cycle. Coaches and Admin users who have access to these users have the ability to view this Lesson Plan Submissions but do not have the ability to submit or link existing lesson plans.
