Learn how Grow's Lesson Plan Feedback feature works.
Please note: this article is primarily for users with a Coach role and above at districts with the Lesson Plan Feedback Feature enabled. If you are interested in setting this up for your site, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager/Specialist.
Submit Lesson Plan
Users with the permission to submit lesson plans can do so by clicking Start > Submit Lesson Plan from their home screen. Users also have the ability to submit a lesson plan directly from their profile page by clicking the green Submit Lesson Plan button.
For additional information on submitting lesson plans, please review our article on How do I submit a lesson plan for review?
Giving Feedback on a Lesson Plan
Coaches and leaders can select a lesson plan feedback form and record feedback on a lesson plan shared with them.
Reviewers can then either Request Changes from the submitter or Approve the lesson plan. If the reviewer request changes, the submitter will be prompted to resubmit their lesson plan after reviewing the feedback.
Reviewing Feedback on a Lesson Plan
Lesson plan submitters can review their feedback easily once it has been recorded by their Coach. If a request to resubmit a Lesson Plan is made, Teachers are able to review the previous feedback and then resubmit their Lesson Plan. Both Teacher and Coach are able to view and track the progress and status of a Lesson Plan from this table.
Quick Approve Lesson Plan Feature
Depending on your district’s settings, certain users may have the ability to Quick Approve lesson plans instead of completing a comprehensive review. Use this feature to document compliance and acknowledge submission for lesson plans that do not require full review.
Configuring Lesson Plan Due Dates
Lesson Plan Scheduling can be enabled via System Settings, to manage Lesson Plan submission deadlines. With this feature, submitters are able to track their own due dates and overall progress. Completion and pacing reports are available to Coaches and Admins when this feature is enabled.
